ToyCon 2006 Cosplay Guidelines
=================================
- The ToyCon Live Action Figure Cosplay is open to
all ToyCon event attendees.
- There will be two cosplay age categories:
- Teens/Adults = ages 13 and up
- Kids = ages 12 and below
- ToyCon cosplay event will be an OPEN CATEGORY
competition where participants could cosplay any character that
they want from any genre whether it's from an anime, manga, games,
comics, movies, western animation, j-pop, j-rock, harajuku
fashion, etc.
- There’ll be a ToyCon Filipino Cosplay event
on Day 2 (June 18). The cosplay event will be a FILIPINO
CHARACTER CATEGORY competition where participants could
cosplay any character from any Philippine title/genre whether
it’s from a comic, game, TV series, fiction, fantasy, etc.
Participants could also cosplay original character creations.
- ToyCon cosplay event will be held for two days
(June 17-18). Day 1 (June 17) cosplay will be an individual
cosplay event while Day 2 (June 18) cosplay will be a group
cosplay and Filipino character cosplay event.
- The cosplay registration will be an
on-site/at-con registration only. The cosplay registration will
open from 10am and it’ll end at 4pm. Only the ToyCon Cosplay
Head and/or the ToyCon Head Organizer will determine for possible
extension of deadline. There won’t be any online registration.
- There won't be any entry limit for the
individual cosplay event, cosplay group event and the Filipino
character cosplay event. However, there'll be a deadline for
the registration and anyone who registered before the deadline is
included to the official list of cosplay participants.
- Cosplayers under eighteen (18) years of age as of
cosplay event date must have their parent/s and/or legal
guardian/s sign the waiver/image release form. Kids ages below 10
should be accompanied by their parents or guardian.
- A costume that exposes private parts in public is
strictly prohibited. However, scantly clad and/or sexy costumes
are allowed but are not encourage. ToyCon cosplay team has the
authority and the power to disqualify cosplayers if they were
judged offending namely to minors.
- Any kind of costume prop/s that will be used by a
cosplayer mustn’t be harmful to his fellow cosplayers, event
attendees and event staff. Any kind of costume prop/s must be
handled with utmost care by the cosplayer. Sharp and/or bladed
objects that could inflict damage or cut human flesh are strictly
prohibited. Also any kind of pyrotechnic equipment and/or prop/s
are strictly prohibited for there’s a possibility that it could
inflict damage to the venue and property.
- Collectibles Unlimited, its staff and the ToyCon
cosplay team won’t be held responsible in any way in any event
that would render damage and/or loss to a cosplay participant and
to his/her property.
- Collectibles Unlimited and the ToyCon cosplay
team have the authority and the right to disqualify a
cosplayer’s entry in an event that a cosplayer ignores and/or
violates any of the aforementioned guidelines.
- Final decisions made by the appointed cosplay
judges are absolute and any kind of appeal concerning about their
decisions won’t be entertained.
- Upon signing the waiver/image release form will
give Collectibles Unlimited and its organizers the right and
authority to take videos and/or photographs of its cosplay
participants at its discretion and therefore will be the property
of Collectibles Unlimited. This will also give Collectibles
Unlimited and its organizers to use the image and/or likeness of
its cosplay participants for current and/or future advertisement
and/or promotion in any kind of media whatsoever.

2006 Individual and Filipino Cosplay Guidelines
=========================================
- An individual cosplay participant can only
register on-site/at-con on June 17 from 10am to 4pm.
- A Filipino character cosplay participant can
register on-site/at-con on June 18 from 10am to 4pm.
- Cosplayers who do not show up during call time
will be disqualified (be there at least 15 minutes before call
time).
- An individual cosplay participant can join the
group cosplay category that would be held on June 18 even as a
minor role.
- An individual cosplay and Filipino character
cosplay participant will be given a max stage time limit of 2
minutes.

2006 Group Cosplay Guidelines
==================================
- The cosplay group can register on-site/at-con on
June 18 from 10am to 4pm.
- A single cosplay group must consist of at least 5
members and there won't be any limit to the maximum no. of
members.
- A member of a particular cosplay group can only
join and/or part on only one
cosplay group and he/she isn’t allowed to join other
cosplay group/s.
- A 5 minute cosplay skit will be given for the
group participant on stage.
