Battle of the Tribute Band

1. Contest is open to all bands.

2. Any music style are allowed. (hip hop, electronica, rock, pop, metal,  jrock, jpop,  etc.)

3. Each entry must be an original composition, song must be a tribute to any existing local or international titles of anime, games, comics, sci-fi and fantasy tv and movies. Tribute songs to any characters are also welcome.

4. Six (6) finalists will  be chosen to perform at the Toy Convention.

5. To join, submit a demo recording of your composition. It can be raw, acoustic or jamming type of recording, the importance is that we must hear your music, vocals and lyrics arrangements.

Demo must be in cassette tape, mp3, wav or in CD audio.
Demos can be uploaded to your own servers. Submit the url and songs will be downloaded by the organizers.

6. Songs can be in English or Filipino. For songs in other foreign language or dialect, submit a translation with your entry.

7. Submit the following information below together with your demo.

Name of the band:
Name of members and their instruments:
Song title:
Tribute to:
Lyrics ( with translation if in other foreign language or dialect):
Submit all entries in a brown envelope.

8. Submit your demo before or exact 5pm of June 10, 2006 to

Vtoyz Hobby Center at #80 Blue Lane, 3rd level Shoppesville
Greenhills, San Juan

9. The 6 chosen finalists will be notified tru email, mobile, or landline.

10. Awarding ceremonies will be on June 18th in SM Megamall, Megatradehall 2 at 7pm.
